Description

This Shamrock Mint Chocolate Pie is a no-bake, festive dessert perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. The creamy mint filling, combined with a chocolatey Oreo crust, creates a delicious treat that is quick to prepare and loved by everyone.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 4 drops green gel food color
  • 2 (3.4 oz) packages vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 (8-inch) Oreo pie crust
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, green/gold sprinkles, chocolate coins

Instructions

  1. Using an electric beater or stand mixer, whisk heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  2. Add peppermint extract and green gel food color and beat until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix and milk until smooth.
  4. Fold in whipped cream into pudding mixture until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the Oreo pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Cover the pie and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  7. Before serving, remove the pie from the freezer and let it sit for 10 minutes. Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, or chocolate coins if desired. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • If you prefer a less sweet pie, reduce the powdered sugar in the whipped cream.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute the whipping cream with coconut cream and use a non-dairy milk.
