- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and water. Mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.
- Pour half of the red velvet cake batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the red velvet batter, then top with the remaining red velvet cake batter.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the dessert to cool completely.
- Once cooled, melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the cheesecake bites (optional).
- Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
