Description
Crack breakfast sliders are quick, cheesy, and savory breakfast sandwiches made with Hawaiian rolls, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar, and ranch butter.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking eggs)
- 1 lb bacon
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix
- 1 (12-oz) package Hawaiian rolls
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet and scramble the eggs over medium heat until just set. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop into smaller pieces.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating the individual rolls. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
- Layer half the cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon, and then the remaining cheese over the rolls. Place the top half of the rolls on top.
- Mix melted butter with ranch seasoning and brush over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute turkey bacon or sausage for a different protein.
- Assemble ahead and refrigerate, adding ranch butter only before baking.
- For softer rolls, cover the dish with foil while baking.
- Use cheese slices instead of shredded if preferred.
