Description

Christmas Tree Mini Pizzas are a festive, kid-friendly appetizer or dinner idea perfect for the holiday season. These mini pizzas are made with pizza dough cut into tree shapes, topped with pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, mini pepperoni, and green bell pepper for a colorful and delicious holiday treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough: base for the mini pizzas
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce: adds classic tomato flavor
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese: for a melty, cheesy topping
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni: creates a festive ‘ornament’ effect
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely diced (optional): adds color and crunch
  • 2 tbsp flour: for dusting the surface and cutter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil: brushed on dough for golden finish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Use a tree-shaped cookie cutter to cut out Christmas tree shapes. Re-roll scraps to maximize yield.
  4. Place dough shapes on the prepared baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  5. Spread a small spoonful of pizza sauce over each tree, leaving a border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  7. Decorate with mini pepperoni and optional green bell pepper to resemble ornaments.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
